The pet who was always there for you...
The pet who was such an important part of your family...
How difficult it is to bear the loss of a beloved pet.
The pain can last a long time and we never really stop missing our dear furry friend.
This holiday season, you can honor your pet’s memory by lighting a virtual candle here at Paws To Remember. You can tell the world what your pet meant to you, about the little quirks you cherished, about their devotion and loyalty. Your donation of $15 will be a legacy of your beloved friend’s love — it will go toward helping other animals stay healthy and find their special people. Your pet’s memory will live on when you Paws to Remember. ------> Please click here to begin.

Dear Obie - I miss your constant shennanigans as much as your unconditional love. I miss you sleeping in the hors d'oeuvres platter and in the garden dirt pile. I miss your endless purring and cuddling. I even miss your sneezy snots. I miss you following me around like a puppy dog, begging to be picked up. Thank you for filling my life with joy and love while you were here.
Our little Yogi was taken so suddenly I'm sure he was needed for another one of God's tasks. But, he is forever in our Hearts! God Bless You My Angel. We still miss you! March/2011.
We hope you are finally at peace and without pain! We Love You, Yogi!
Boris and Shadow
Boris and Shadow you were our very first BARKS kitties. Both had a rough start. Shadow was a feral mom cat found starving with her kittens. A wonderful BARKS volunteer rescued you and taught you how to trust. You were so scared at first but soon learned to relish the love and affection of us humans. Boris was found with busted feet and another wonderful volunteer saved him and nursed him back to health. It took you a month to realize you were safe and in your forever home but then became the ultimate snuggle cat.
- Cheryl and Craig
Every day when I came home from work, she was waiting for me with her kisses ready.
Gracie was her name when we adopted her. It seemed appropriate because she's grey, see? It also fit her personality, which was shy and passive. She rarely made eye contact, was not a licker or barker, but she would nuzzle your leg to show affection. We had no idea how much we would miss this sweet undemanding old girl. A gentle goodnight to you Gracie, wherever you are.
In remembrance of Millie the Newfie, a senior BARKS dog who was given the wonderful gift of a warm, loving foster home for her final year.
