BARKS can't help the animals without you!
Your generous donations allow us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 350 animals yearly, and provide low cost Trap/Neuter/Release options to local residents.
Every little bit helps!
After more than 45 years of partnering with Byram Township BARKS has unexpectedly been forced out of our long term home due to unexpected financial demands coupled with a 90 day no cause cancelation of lease policy. BARKS has searched for and identified a private property to lease, but needs your support to assist us with the cost of this Big Move during the pandemic. In order to seek a variance to legally operate our shelter BARKS will need to hire an architect, planner and engineer. The building will need to be remodeled to meet Shelter requirements and keep the animals safe- flooring, plumbing, exhaust fans, and new walls and doors will need to be installed. Cages, shed and shelving will need to disassembled and moved- likely into storage for a short time while we ready the new location due to the short notice of the Big Move.
